Main office located in Tampa, Florida.

While this is being posted as a fully remote Account Manager role, you must be able to travel to Tampa for initial 1-2 weeks of training, and be able to come back in office for quarterly visits for training and teambuilding.

Summary/Objective

The primary focus of the Account Manager is to provide high level support to active Accounts and identify opportunities to win back lost Accounts. The Account Manager will cultivate relationships with key contacts. Activates implementation, process, stewardship webinars, identifies growth and at-risk clients, and proactively strategizes and implements plans to retain and grow clients.


Essential Functions

  • Generates employer leads from inbound phone, email, web, and chat inquiries, business referrals (partner, existing clients, word of mouth referrals, and networking).
  • Answer any incoming sales calls to determine the needs of the potential client and if they are a good fit for the program by determining the company size, decision makes, volume potential, carrier & states with exposure.
  • Completes discovery meetings and presents proposal & program via phone/webinar; handles objections and gains commitment.
  • Coordinates and conducts implementation meetings via webinar or conference call.
  • Follows up, answers implementation questions, and sends clients implementation documents.
  • Sets up new accounts with instructions, contacts, pricing, etc.
  • Works collaboratively with Service and IT to identify solutions when special process requests are made from new clients when onboarding.
  • Follows up to gain first referral (win opportunity), address question/objections, complete post sell steps and drive additional referrals.
  • Manages day-to-day needs of assigned Accounts, including, but not limited to, Implementation, Training and Stewardship Webinars.
  • Cultivates close relationships with clients and functions as the go to person for account activity.
  • Supports company's retention efforts for clients within assigned territory by inquiries, providing ongoing training and educational sessions (via phone, web, and chat) and providing ongoing account management.
  • Occasionally partners with Account Executive to conduct Implementations, follow-ups and set up account instructions, pricing, contact information, etc. for new clients won by the AE within that Account Manager's territory. May perform other support tasks to assist AEs within AMs territory as needed.
  • Develop outreach and retention strategies for employer, carrier & TPA relationships.
  • Meet or exceed your goal of WC Claims per month.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills. Have the ability to listen and understand customer needs/wants to ensure the best experience with using the Transition2Work program.
  • Must have the ability to establish relationships across diverse perspectives. Manage different points of view and find common ground.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, strategies and tactics.
  • Can speak influentially. Keep others updated with appropriate details and context.
  • Gather and analyze data to anticipate potential issues/obstacles. Recommend and provide creative solutions. Recommend process improvements after examining the way it's always been done.
  • Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles, terminology, and practices of Workers' Compensation claims and risk management.
  • High level of ethics, professionalism, and confidence.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations and documentation.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines with short notice.

Required Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience and/or client services.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience with ReEmployAbility, preferred.
  • Knowledge of the workers' compensation industry strongly preferred.

Other

Travel may be required up 5% of the time for onsite client visits. Individual is required to sit for an extended period of time, stand, walk, talk and hear, use hands and fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. May also occasionally need to lift or move 0-15 pounds. Specific vision skills for computer usage and written document reading.
